HOW TO CHOOSE A DETAILING BRUSH?

Auto detailing of the car is primarily the attention to detail while washing the car. There are many hard-to-reach nooks and crannies where a lot of pollution accumulates, and getting to them is not trivial at all. These include the air vents, the radiator grille, or aluminium rims. To face this problem, producers of detailing accessories have created a tool commonly known as a detailing brush. Over time, many different variations of this tool have been made, with each version dedicated to another task. A meeting that is too hard on a delicate surface may scratch it. In turn, an excessively soft brush in confrontation with strong chemicals can damage it permanently. So let’s take a closer look at car brushes in the context of various applications.

HOW TO IDENTIFY A GOOD DETAILING BRUSH?

When buying a detailing brush, you should pay attention to the quality and materials used to make it. It should be products with a metal ferrule and a wooden shaft. We recommend choosing a brush with a plastic or rubber shaft. Wooden elements can collect moisture, gradually absorb chemicals inside the structure, and, as a result, rot. The rubber shaft ensures a firm grip and guarantees precise use. A professional car brush should also open convenient storage, among other bushes.

WHICH BRUSH TO CHOOSE FOR THE INTERIOR?

When cleaning the car’s interior, we should use detailing brushes with natural, delicate bristles. The recommended car interior brush should have different bristle lengths. There is no perfect width. It is worth equipping yourself with a brush with a minimal bristle width and a large width. The brush can be an excellent tool for collecting dust from hard-to-reach places, e.g. around seams, before cleaning the leather.
